“The Spirit of Victory in a Read Book”

In honor of Victory Day, the library staff of the I. Abdukarimov Kyzylorda Higher Polytechnic College organized a historical and literary event entitled “The Spirit of Victory in a Read Book.”The purpose of the event was to glorify the heroism of the people during the Great Patriotic War, instill patriotism in the younger generation, and increase interest in literary works devoted to the war theme.During the event, an informative introduction was presented about the history of the war and the significance of that difficult period in the fate of humanity. Participants were shown a video about the Great Patriotic War, and historical scenes provided a look back into the pastAs part of the event, readers expressively recited poems dedicated to the war theme. In addition, slides telling the stories of the war years were shown on the screen, widely promoting the heroism of soldiers and the courage of the nation.In the main part of the evening, participants shared the books they had read about the Great Patriotic War based on the book “The Spirit of Victory,” expressing their thoughts about the bravery of soldiers, human values, and love for the Motherland.The book exhibition “The Spirit of Victory – A Legacy for Future Generations” was also widely presented during the event. The exhibition featured literature about the Great Patriotic War, heroic deeds, and historical memories. It was emphasized that literary works on war themes have great educational value for the younger generation.
