“SAVE WATER - SAVE THE FUTURE!”

A cognitive educational event entitled “Save Water – Save the Future!” was organized at the Kyzylorda Polytechnic Higher College named after Issatay Abdykarimov with the aim of promoting the efficient use of water resources, developing a culture of water conservation, and increasing students’ environmental responsibility.The event was opened with welcoming remarks by Deputy Director for Academic and Methodological Affairs Bakdaulet Derbisaliuly Durman, who emphasized the importance of protecting and efficiently using water resources.Aigul Kiikbayevna Alibekova, Head of the Department of Water Resources Monitoring, State Accounting and the Water Cadastre of the Aral-Syr Darya Basin Inspectorate for Regulation of Use and Protection of Water Resources, and Fariza Bolatovna Madenova, Chief Specialist of the Department of Water Use Management and Regulation, were specially invited to the meeting and held an informative session with the students.During the meeting, the specialists provided comprehensive information on the current state of water resources, the protection and efficient use of water reserves, water use management and regulation, as well as the importance of water conservation.The students were informed about the importance of water as a natural resource. It was emphasized that responsible water use and environmental protection are a shared responsibility of every citizen.During the event, students had the opportunity to ask the specialists questions and openly exchange views on the conservation and efficient use of water resources.The educational meeting was an important initiative aimed at increasing young people’s environmental awareness, fostering a responsible attitude towards natural resources, and developing a culture of water conservation.Saving water is not only about protecting nature - it is also about taking responsibility for the future!
