A Preventive Legal Awareness Meeting Was Held with Students in the Dormitory

As part of the “Law and Order” concept, officers of the Kyzylorda Region Police Department held a meeting with students at the dormitory of the I. Abdukarimov Kyzylorda Polytechnic College. The main purpose of the meeting was to prevent juvenile delinquency, explain legal requirements, and promote a culture of maintaining public order among young people.College Director Abaibek Talgatuly Zhunisov addressed issues such as the prevention of group fights among minors, proper behavior in public places, discipline, and personal responsibility, providing specific examples. In addition, the requirements regarding minors being outside during nighttime hours were explained.Employees of the Public Security Department also participated in the event, informing students about ways to prevent offenses and providing detailed information on legal responsibility. Furthermore, important issues commonly faced by young people, such as bullying, cyberbullying, internet safety, gambling addiction, drug abuse, and violence, were widely discussed.During the event, students were informed about the types of administrative and criminal liability in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as the rights and responsibilities of minors. Explanatory work aimed at improving legal literacy among youth was also carried out.
