As part of National Book Day on April 23, a BiblioCafe event titled “A Place of Books and Inspiration” was held at the library of the I. Abdukarimov Kyzylorda Polytechnic Higher College. The purpose of the event was to increase students’ interest in reading, foster a reading culture, and strengthen the connection between the library and its readers. The main highlight of the event was its “BiblioCafe” format. On this day, the library transformed from a simple reading space into a warm and creative environment. Students shared their favorite books and expressed their thoughts on the works they had read. During the evening, engaging intellectual quizzes and games were organized. Participants were given various tasks related to books, literature, and knowledge. This part of the event boosted students’ activity and allowed them to test their knowledge. In addition, a special “Wishes Board” was set up, where readers left warm messages and words of appreciation for the library. This further strengthened the bond between the library and its visitors. Active readers who frequently visit the library and show initiative were also awarded certificates of appreciation. At the end of the event, participants continued their conversations in the “BiblioCafe” format over tea, sharing their thoughts and impressions. This event not only increased students’ interest in books but also highlighted the importance of the library as a spiritual and cultural center. A book is a source of knowledge, and a generation that values it is the future of the nation.
